In addition to great sessions, speakers and activities, mobile workshop opportunities will include: - Behind the scenes tour of Old Fort Erie, IMAX viewing of Niagara’s Fury, and self-guided tour of Downtown Niagara - Behind the scenes tours of Bird Kingdom and Butterfly Conservatory with time to explore Niagara Falls - Behind the scenes tour of Welland Cannel Centre, Lakeside Park Carousel / Port Dalhousie (early 1900 carousel and historic park and lighthouse), and a private tour of Trius Winery - Birding Along Niagara with Ian Shanahan - Tour of Dundurn Castle’s site and historic garden, and 2 hour canoe paddle in Cootes Paradise Wetland, Royal Botanical Gardens

Nominate the awesome interpreters in your life for a Great Lakes Regional award. Nominating someone is easy! It’s just 3 steps. 1) Fill out the nomination form 2) Write a letter about their accomplishments and contributions to interpretation 3) Get a few folks write letters of support.

The NAI Region 4 Interpretive Project Grants Program is designed to provide a source of funding for small projects within the region. For 2016, a total of $3000 is available, awarded in amounts of up to $1000. Applications due August 1, 2016. Need some inspiration?
