The NAI Great Lakes Region mentorship program aims to provide networking opportunities between interpretive generations, increase professional development options for new interpreters, and strengthen our community through conversation.
Our mentorship program runs from November through June, with mentor orientation in October. Mentors and mentees will meet for at least one hour every month to discuss interpretation, build the mentee's skills and networks, and learn from each other. All NAI members living or working with Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, or Ontario are welcome to apply. Mentors and mentees will be matched to the best of our ability, dependent upon program participation.
Applications for our 2023-2024 cohort are closed!

We hope to include enough participants for all interested mentees to get connected. Mentees may seek mentorship for any level of their career, from entry-to-the-field to preparing for retirement, so we encourage mentors with varying levels of experience to apply!
