Regional Interpreters' Workshop
New in 2024: Applications are open!
Student Members are invited to apply for a scholarship to support their attendance an NAI Great Lakes Regional Interpreters' Workshop.
Recipients will be chosen based on financial need, past/present involvement in the field of interpretation (which includes educational paths leading toward a future career), and the extent to which an individual is likely to benefit from attending.
Applicants must supply all of the information requested, currently be a STUDENT member of NAI and the Great Lakes Region, and must live or work or go to school in the Great Lakes Region (Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, or Ontario).
Recipient will be required to assist the NAI Great Lakes Region during the conference. This will include helping at the scholarship auction and/or merchandise table, or in another way with prior arrangements with the chair.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Conference registration costs are deducted directly from the Scholarship Award. After the deduction of registration costs, any remaining funds from the Scholarship Award will be distributed to the recipient during or immediately after the conference to be used towards travel, mobile workshops, and hotel bookings. Attendance at the workshop must be verified before any remaining funds are distributed.
